Q: What is PTFE?

A: PTFE, also known as Telfon, is known for its inertness to chemicals and weathering stability.  It would provide vehicle paint with the best protection from acid rains, tree saps, bird wastes, insects and a wide range of other adverse environmental conditions and contaminants.

 

Q: Does PTFE Paint Armour Protectant contain any VOC or other hazard chemicals?

A: No. The main ingredients of PTFE Paint Armour Protectant are PTFE and other polymeric materials that are safe to human and paint, and thus do not contatin any environmental pollutants.

 

Q: How long does the PTFE Paint Armour Protectant last comparing to regular wax?

A: The PTFE Paint Armour Protectant is attached to the vehicle paint with ionic bonding that will provide much long paint protection than ordinary car wax.  Since it's so easy to apply PTFE Paint Armour Protectant, we recommend applying PTFE Paint Armour Protectant every 3-4 months, for best results.

 

Q: Can I still wash my car through car wash machine or by hand after I apply PTFE Paint Armour Protectant?

A: Yes.  You can wash your cars as usual.  In fact, we highly recommend you wash your cars weekly with just water to remove any contaminants.

 

Q: Can I use PTFE Paint Armour Protectant on other parts of my car in addition to the exterior paint?

A: Yes.  In fact you can apply PTFE Paint Armour Protectant on rubber, plastics, and glass to protect them from damages and contamination.  It can also be used for interior vinyl and dashboard protection as it doesn't contain any harmful and volatile chemicals.
